Preparations for IFFI 2011 in swing – Margao /Panjim – a short tour

Starts on 23^rd Nov and ends on 3^rd  Dec. 2011.

This year, opening ceremony will take place at Ravhindra Bhavan, Margao and  it will be opened at the hands of a Bollywood super star, King Khan SRK or Shahrukh Khan.

Today, we visited the venue, everyone seems to be very busy to finish the work right in time.

External carpentry work was going one, internal painting was going, stage setting work etc as can be seen in the video.

Pai Tiatrist Hall washrooms completely overhauled with modern or luxury fittings.- Basin, taps, WCs etc.  Something which was badly needed here.  It may be reminded that, within days of  inauguration of Ravindra Bhavan, there were complaints of washrooms including broken internal door latches of WCs.

No night time street illumination at Margao yet but Panjim started 2 days ago – see pics/video
